Halloween Junkie.

You could say I'm a Halloween Addict.
Really, just a "Last 3 Months Of The Year Addict".
I LOVE THIS SEASON.
I eat it up.
So, because of my addiction - though most people at Venture Data don't dress up - that wasn't going to stop me.
And don't ask if I'm a bear or a cheetah, because I couldn't decide, really.
So we'll just say I was a "breetah". Ya dig? (You work with what you got)

Quick flashback to last Halloween; 2 days before I got engaged to Cole Ryan!
(2 days before he "chose me"…"I choose you Pikachu") FINE, I'LL STOP WITH THE POKEMON JOKES, but I WAS Pikachu for Halloween soooo….it was required.

Little known fact - I DO NOT remember why or how or what in the world I was thinking, but for some reason I said the words "I choose you Pikachu" on our first date, and he just kept laughing and saying "you're so lame" for the next hour. Hahah. I don't know how I'm married.

Anyway, this was us this year!
Before you look at the pictures, I am commanding you to look at Cole's belt before you look at anything else, because it is just PURE MONEY.
I think I laughed at him every single time I saw him the entire night.
He's my freakin' soulmate.

We were in charge of making the Homemade Root Beer.
Apparently that's what EVERYONE makes for Halloween, because every grocery store was sold out of the Root Beer Extract.
Sooo…we ended up using Root Beer Extract out of my mom's cupboard from 2004.
Hahahah.
Keep in mind that I am a hypochondriac, but it tasted a little…strong.
I don't know what happens after Extract expires for 10 years, but I'm just still hoping it doesn't ferment.
Because if it does, I may have served alcohol to a WHOLE lot of teenage boys.
(NO, I CAN'T MAKE ANYTHING RIGHT)

If you didn't know, my parents are basically celebrities when it comes to Halloween.
People literally drive their kids from different cities to come to "The House With All The Lights And King-Sized Candy Bars".
MY DAD LOVES IT.
He thrives on being that celebrity.
Seriously, I don't think he moved away from the door once the entire night, just so he could see kids' reactions.
I love nothing more than being at The Call House on Halloween.

I don't care what you say, there is nothing creepier than a Permanently-Smiling-President-Mask.
But for some reason Bill Clinton brings out the Party in Jake.

And, okay. I think of myself as a pretty "Artsy" person.
I'm good at Photoshop and little crafts and doodling at work.
Apparently I am not the Artsy one in this family of 2.
LOOK at Cole's pumpkin.
Seriously?
He makes me so mad.
He is immediately good at everything he ever attempts, and it really ticks me off sometimes!
I mean, I probably shouldn't root for my own husband to fail, but THROW ME A BONE HERE, he's flawless.

We ended the night hanging out with the in-laws, and there are very few people I like talking to more. I scored big-time with the ultimate mother-in-law!

I'm just really lucky to, not only have a family that takes Halloween seriously, but TWO families that dress up and decorate and go all-out.
Super excited that my kids get to have all these people to make them love Halloween as much as I do!
