The other day in the car, I asked him if he ever got cold feet about this. You know; if he ever had doubts or regrets or anxieties.
He said he had questioned this exact anxiety the other day. And he sat there and thought about why he wanted to marry me.
This was his response:
"I'm not marrying you because I liked you a lot, fast. I'm not marrying you so we can have sex. I'm marrying you, because I want to be with you all the time. I want to be with you, and accomplish things with you, and have a family with you."
This is exactly why I didn't hesitate to agree to this future the second he got on his knee on November 2nd. I am the luckiest.
